The 99W Drive-In Theatre in thriving Newberg, Oregon, has been operating continuously since 1953. We are happy to provide Newberg, Portland, Vancouver, McMinnville, Salem and all the surrounding areas with an amazing selection of new movies, old movies, and classic drive-in choices throughout spring, summer and early fall.
The joy of watching a movie under the stars is still within easy reach in these modern times: huddled up under blankets or in the back of a vehicle together as a family, able to quietly talk and laugh and joke without worrying too much about the people sitting next to you - it's something that has to be experienced.

The 99W snack bar provides delicious movie fare (popcorn, candy, hot dogs and drinks) with updated choices such as hamburgers and fries, pizza and even ice cream treats (try that at your local indoor theatre). With an indoor arcade and convenient and clean bathrooms, there aren't many reasons to not come to the drive-in.

Once ubiquitous across Oregon and the entire nation, the number of drive-ins has shrunk to round 330 or so theatres from a peak of approximately 4000 in the late fifties. That doesn't mean, however, that the experience off enjoying a movie under the stars is going away anytime soon.
Upgraded with digital projection (thanks to Honda's Project Drive-In and the fans of the 99W) combined with AM and FM broadcast sound has brought the drive-in experience into the modern age. That means the movies we show look better and sound better to our esteemed clientele.
